Poem I wrote

 .

A NATURAL FACT

When the Fool meets the Magician

After braving the fall

Off the steep precipice

(Knapsack and all)

They party with Hermes

An untrustworthy god

And summon up forces

Get up to no good

But along comes Demeter

The Empress supreme

She reigns in their mischief

And tidies the scene

Now, when Demeter gets angry

The crops don't grow

The birds don't sing

The rivers don't flow

So the Fool and Magician

Clean up their act

Even Hermes knows better

Than to try and sass back
