Poem I wrote

 .

.

.

DOCTOR OF S b W

.

.

How much does a lesson cost?

Sometimes it does not cost very much

A small adjustment fixes it

A few dollars, half an hour

Lesson learned.

Sometimes the lesson is very costly

Taking all our money, all our time

Every hope in our heart of hearts

Sometimes it costs our whole reality

Such an expensive lesson should not be wasted

It is vital that we learn from those harsh, bitter, devastating lessons

Vital that we learn the right thing

That there are people, places, things

Which will never work in our best interests

We get our "Sadder but Wiser" degrees

If you never got your diploma, let me hand you one now

Congratulations graduate, go forth into this world of choices

You can set up your own business - succeed and prosper

As the new, well-educated, highly skilled version of you.
