ORACLE

Years ago

I was given some good advice

By a friend of a friend

Words spoken casually in passing

But something about those words 

Resonated in my thoughts

Echoed around in my mind

I took the words to heart

Acted on them

Benefitted from them

Now I wonder

If this wise counsel

Was really my Guardian Angel

Speaking to me through the voice

Of someone I hardly knew
