THE TRAGEDY OF ATOMS
To have a material form
To be composed of atoms
Is potentially tragic
Because once atoms become a Somebody
They don't easily become a Nobody again
The atoms cling together insisting on the form
That the guiding intelligence gave them
The tragedy of atoms
Is that they must eventually let go
Re-form, become something new
But what about the guiding intelligence
The blueprint, the program?
That is indestructible, e-ternal
Outside of time but inside of us.
