GLIMMER GLIMMER

GLIMMER GLIMMER

When a relationship is starting to wear thin

We need those twin glimmers of hope:

That repairing the relationship has merit

And that I am the right person to attempt it

That I will do more good than harm

Sometimes we have said everything we have to say.

And done everything we're  going to do

We just get to the end

Then we can detach with kindness and peace

In our hearts

Knowing that we tried, gave it our best shot

But the necessary ingredients were just not there

When our glimmer goes out we pick up our

Bag of unused glimmers and move on down the road

Greeting others with their own glimmer bags

Which might resonate with our own light

And become the spark of connection that holds

Two sacred little suns orbiting each other

Across the Universe of little lights blinking their message

Of love and hope, good will and peace of spirit
