RAZZLE DAZZLE
.
.
If there was a diamond in someone's shoe
They would not appreciate its beauty
It would annoy them, perhaps causing them to limp
Until they can remove the shoe and dump the diamond
In the dust by the side of the road.
Yet, it is not a valueless pebble
It was in the wrong place therefore deemed worse than valueless
In the right setting the diamond would shine, be appreciated
A valuable heirloom, an inheritance to be passed down
Admired by all.
Sometimes a person is like that diamond
In the wrong place, at the wrong time
Annoying, devalued, dumped in the dust
That person deserves the best setting to showcase
Their facets of inner splendor, the Glorious Light
Reflected in a thousand colors, a thing of beauty
Treasured, valued, protected
Now that it is seen for what it truly is.
