I don't know when or where I lost my sneer

My contempt, my moral superiority

I don't know when I dropped my angry judgements

Or my "rightness" about everything

I don't have them but I am glad they're gone

Perhaps they fell out of my bag of tricks

When I added lovingkindness and "live and let live"

If you find any of them laying around

Radiating negativity and division

I don't want them back

Just toss them in the trash

Where they belong
