WORRY IS UNSUSTAINABLE

WORRY IS UNSUSTAINABLE

.

.

If your hands are shaking and your head is aching

To the heart pounding in your chest

Then it might be the time to rest your poor mind

Just give it all a rest

.

.

Put down the problems, put down the worry

Put down the burdens of the past

Just set it down for a while until you get back your smile

And a new approach that can last

TRIPPING ITINERARY

TRIPPING ITINERARY

.

.

What if everything is ruined?

What if all your choices and rotten luck

Have taken you to Hopelessness and Despair

What if all your golden plans turned out to be fool's gold

Worthless

The plans might have been thwarted

But you, my friend, are NOT worthless

Therefore your only choice is to start over

With what you have, valuable information

On what not to do, what doesn't work, what you have outgrown

This is the most valuable information a person can have

If they are devising a new plan, a new vision

Of what you want your life to be

So pack up all those trials and tribulations in your bag

Of tricks and tresspasses

And set off immediately in a new direction

On a new day, with a new plan

For the next leg of your journey

To the Source

PROBLEMATIC

 .

.

.

PROBLEMATIC

.

.

When the chronically self-deceived

Have a bad reason for doing something

They cover it with the fig leaf

Of a good reason, a noble reason

Then strut over to the moral high ground

Smug in their righteous indignation

To look down on you for ever ever

Questioning their motives.

MY SCIENCE EXPERIMENT

 .

.

.

MY SCIENCE EXPERIMENT

.

.

I like to feel cozy and warm when I come to the end of my day

I warm my cold nightgown on a heating pad to avoid warmth's slight delay

They used to have metal bed warming things filled with the hot coals they had

But modern me doesn't have those things, I use a heating pad

I folded and refolded it every night to get the most fabric warm

Once I tried every kind of fold, I deviated from the norm

(Deviation is easy for me, I was born with that wyrd bent)

I finally figured out the very best way to meet my warming intent

I swirl it around and round the size to fit the pad

Maximum warmth for a cozy feel that makes me relaxed and glad

So my scientific conclusion is a cosmic swirly swirl

To warm the nightie of this sleepy space dream girl

HOPE TO COPE

HOPE TO COPE

.

.

Many skills can be improved with practice

Including our skills used to cope

But what if these skills are played out

And you're at the end of your rope?

.

.

Then we must develop new skills

Ones we never used before

If your old skill set is not doing it

Then we will need something more

.

.

You might learn how to be here now

To be mindful of what you are doing

You might need to drop guilt and blame

Your boundaries might need reinforcing

.

.

Healthy habits are a wonderful skill

So is learning how to calm

Add a few new arrows to your quiver of skills

Then your journey can go successfully on.

ADVENTURE

 .

.

.

ADVENTURE

.

.

The life of adventure is the life for me

Not the mountain trail or the untamed sea

But the adventure of a brand new day

Gathering resources, charting my way

No one has ever travelled this day before

The journey starts when my foot touches the floor

The adventure of seeing what happens next

I encourage the heart beating in my chest

I greet the day and venture forth

Travelling through time to find the Source.

LOADED BUT NOT LOCKED

LOADED BUT NOT LOCKED

.

.

If you give the Keys to someone

Who does not have their wits about them

Who can not see clearly through the fog of confusion

At that moment those keys placed in the hands of one afflicted

With the urge to self-destruct

Will do more harm than good.
