DING TO DOOR
.
.
It was a windy day in the parking lot
And the shopping cart blew away
Picking up speed as it rolled downhill
The forces of nature at play
.
.
Gravity, incline and gusting wind
Combined to create the disaster
The shopping cart stopped when it hit a Benz
Too bad the shopper chasing it wasn't faster
.
.
No one is watching, no one around
The cart quickly hidden in the rack
The Benz owner returns, completely unaware
Of the shopping cart attack
.
.
No songs are sung, no tales told
About that fateful day
When Newtonian forces and the Zephyrs combined
And the shopping cart got away
.
