BIG ROCK CAN BE MOUNTAIN
.
.
We can't get proper perspective
From the bottom of our mountain
The foothills of formal education
Are only a little better
No, we must climb that rocky, steep slope
Resting here and there along the way
To catch our breath, refresh our spirits
Reassess our strategies
We can't stay on a flinty ledge for too long
Rockbound, petrified with apprehension
No, we must continue our climb, however arduous
However dizzying, to the tippy top
There we will survey the lay of the land
Gather perspective, devise strategies
Then, when we make our descent,
Filled with the glow of accomplishment
We will know almost everything we need to know
To rule our kingdoms wisely
