Here I am, New Day
With my many foibles and flaws
Please guide all my thoughts and actions
Towards a good and worthy cause.

EQUALS EQUALS EQUALS
Which are more problematic
Women or men?
Whichever one you choose
Better think again.

EVALUATION PROCEDURE #1
Meeting someone new
I run a preliminary diagnostic analysis on them
As we chat
Glad that my clip board and checklists
Are invisible

THE INS AND OUTS
Sometimes I feel out of it
Out of mainstream culture
Hustle and bustle, politics
Competition, conspicuous consumption
.
.
Sometimes I feel in it
The moment, nature
The Universe, the groove
A book, the good graces of my Higher Self

If I don't know if I'm coming or going
It's okay
Both are suitable directions for me.

LIAR TRAINING
.
.
When harsh punishment is a threat
For the many mistakes and learning experiences a child
Naturally has as they navigate their way towards maturity
That child becomes separated from day to day reality
Because the larger and more immediate reality
Of fear causes them to triangulate the tale of actual events
With the current threat and the answers that they hope
Will deflect, neutralize, invent or mold the truth
Into something non-punishable.
Truth is the collateral damage to the threat the child lives with
And the skill of lying is honed and polished until
Truth, sliced up and reinvented, dissected gossamer thin
Virtually disappears, a chasm widening each day
Between the child's grasp of reality and the fear induced lies
The clever child needs for self-protection
