JUST US

The law is dynamic, not static

Old laws are repealed, or not enforced

New laws are written and implemented

This process is continuous

Following the changes in circumstances and society

A new law is required 

When society decides something is a problem 

That must be addressed and dealt with

That penalties must be assigned to behavior

That is unacceptable

.

.

We are society - we decide

Which behavior is disruptive to our smooth functioning

Which behavior must be stopped by threatening punishment

.

.

We are society - we decide

All our voices together form one mighty voice

To instruct the cumbersome millstones of justice

Which behavior needs grinding down to dust

We are society - we decide

We decide on what society we want for the children 

To inherit and inhabit

We are society - we must decide

Wisely
