    oh EA! hilarious and your comment is perfection. however, I was eating, and now I am skeeved out a bit from that second part....*no spoilers*

    I am a big believer in stairs...use them daily...but sometimes they too are a bit scary! depends who is there or not there, and proximity to rest of the world *snorts*

    I have long history of leaving the lift when things get a bit smashed, yucky, and/or untoward or threatening. *nods thinking such is life*

    happy day to you. stay safe no matter how you reach the higher places...

    Hope your day is uplifting with pleasant passengers by your side. Some elevators still have operators, a job like any other with it's ups and downs. At least when an escalator breaks down it isn't so scary!

    wishing you a wonderful hump day! speaking of ups and downs...just like a hump... or humping... mmhhh... *tangential moment* what was I saying...?! *looks around for Viking vampires to assist*

    yes, escalator by default is open and you are free to remove self at all times. however, the ones in London's underground (or tube) are quite a bit daunting since extremely long! like going down into the hell mouth ;p might qualify for elevator when crowded.
