To protect them from their wrong minds

By not becoming a partner on their

Path of destruction

By not subsidizing their poor decision making

Thus allowing them the space and opportunity

To recover their right minds

Help when we can

With a heart full of hope

So if we made mistakes it was not from evil intent

Never woke up with a plan to damage or harm

We planned survival tactics

Only now can we see we missed some important facts

Or aspects we were unaware of

Things we are mindful of now

And incorporate into our desire to improve, grow, help
